Jameel Mohammed founded his brand after being told by the ceo of a preeminent luxury goods company that true luxury brands could only emerge from paris and milan. Khiry aims to prove otherwise. for centuries, our understanding of what we consider “aspirational” has been dictated by privileged gatekeepers. it’s time to decolonize our aesthetic vision by elevating the work of creators like Jameel.
